Once again, with spring, comes another addition to Vakant’s fruitful and ever expanding family. We welcome the man formally known as Cesare vs. Disorder, for the first time releasing under his given name Cesare Marchese.
In such a short period of time, Cesare has amassed quite a discography and legion of fans around the world who follow him wherever he goes. Yet another formally trained musician in the Vakant camp, Cesare’s music has progressed a great deal since his first release in 2006. Every release drips with more and more depth and melody. His Aether EP debut for Vakant yet again proves why Cesare’s accent is unstoppable.
While just a 4 track ep, the Aether EP covers much ground spanning afterhour afternoons to indie influenced incorrigibility, but always with that certain kink and freak that comes from a background of techno and global trotting nightlife revelry.
To say deep and freaky would not be enough. To say anything would not be enough. These are tracks that must be experienced and not written about. From complete house electronics, to altered acoustic uplifts, to deep orbit accents, it’s all here courtesy of our new Sicilian Cesare.

Italian Cesare Marchese (aka Cesare vs Disorder, Queen Atom/CEZ/Sire Cactus) has received massive recognition from the techno and house scene in the past few years, getting increasingly well known thanks to his unique productions and great performances which have gained him an established position between the industry’s fresh and upcoming talents
Sparking interest and support from respected and renowned artists, many of whom are firmly in the driving seat of today’s House/Techno scene, Cesare has made space for himself in the big league by releasing music on many internationally recognized labels.
Now based in Berlin Cesare is releasing his first EP on Vakant and currently working on his first album. His signature of dark and deep electronic sounds are all over his work, aiming to pull us deeper into the mindset of this complex artist while infusing uplifting house elements and raw classic touches meticulously throughout his productions.
